2010 Tryouts: The tryout schedule this year will be quite a bit different from years past. Sub Zero has decided to decrease the total number of tryouts to expedite and focus the team selection processes. Sub Zero will again focus on recruiting and building a team of dedicated in-town players. As spring arrives, Sub Zero will be hosting a number of open scrimmages on select weekends. These scrimmages are not formally a part of team tryouts, are open to all and completely optional if you intend to tryout for the team. The intent is to provide an opportunity to play at a high level, meet the team, and tune-up before tryouts. 2010 Open Scrimmage Schedule: - Sunday, May 2nd at 3 pm at Bryn Mawr
- Wed. June 2, 6:00 pm at Bryn Mawr
- Check back here for changes.
The official tryouts are intended for players who intend to stay frosty all summer and through the fall series. The first tryout will be open to any prospective players--the following tryouts will be invite only. Attendance is expected at all tryouts, if you have a conflict, contact the captains with your special case. In general, defense gets you noticed, offense gets you attention, and needless turn overs get you cut. Show us that you can work hard and respond to feedback. All are welcome, Good luck! Changes will be posted here, and announced via email and Facebook Fan Page. Please contact the

Sub Zero mourns the loss of one of it's founding members, Marty "mfb" Bakko. He was a member of the 1999 semifinals team, a leader of Swank, and a national champion with Surly. He was a tough but fair competitor. In his honor Sub Zero will be retiring his jersey, #42. We'll miss you, Marty.
